Women in Nondescript Landscape is an exclusive and highly valuable work conceived as an artist’s book.
The project makes use of a vintage photographic album, identified by a certified serial number, which becomes an integral part of the artwork itself. The book includes original photographs in a limited edition, personally printed by Attilio Scimone as gelatin silver prints. The artist’s book also contains the original negatives of the images, an element of exceptional rarity and of significant archival and collectible value.
The texts are handwritten by the artist directly onto the album’s original tissue paper pages, reinforcing the intimate and unrepeatable nature of the work.
The book has a closed format of 40 × 35 × 8 cm.
All images are produced on 4×5” black-and-white negative film (Ilford FP4) and printed by the artist on Ilford MG Art 300 photographic paper.
For the realization of this artist’s book, a photographic album from the 1930s was used, in the closed format of 40 × 35 cm, produced by EMIL JAGERT Geschäfts- und Musterbücher Fabrick, copy no. 66–40.

Il lavoro utilizza un album fotografico d’epoca, identificato da numero di serie certificato, che diventa parte integrante dell’opera. Il suo confezionamento comprende fotografie originali in edizione limitata, stampate personalmente da Attilio Scimone in gelatin silver print. Il book contiene inoltre i negativi originali delle immagini, elemento di estrema rarità e rilevanza sul piano archivistico e collezionistico.
I testi sono manoscritti dall’autore direttamente sulle carte veline originali dell’album, rafforzando il carattere intimo e irripetibile dell’opera.

Le immagini sono realizzate su pellicola negativa 4×5” in bianco e nero Ilford FP4 e stampate dall’autore su carta fotografica Ilford MG Art 300.
Per la realizzazione di questo libro d’artista è stato utilizzato un album fotografico degli anni Trenta, nel formato chiuso di cm 40 × 35, prodotto dalla EMIL JAGERT Geschäfts- und Musterbücher Fabrick, copia n. 66–40.
