Synthesis is a unique artist’s book that brings together a selection of works by Attilio Scimone created between 1990 and 2010. Conceived as a collection within a collection, the book gathers images originating from different periods and contexts, united by a consistent inquiry into the image as a site of thought, memory, and presence. Rather than following a linear narrative or stylistic progression, Synthesis proposes a constellation of autonomous works, each page conceived as an individual collectible artwork. The book functions as a

non-descriptive self-portrait, constructed through stratification and temporal convergence, rendering visible the duration of a long-term artistic research.
